Going Home
Like everything fun, there will always be an end to it. Today is the day we start heading back home to our other family, and say goodbye to the fun times we experienced this week. Although, Camp Yale might have ended today, we are all looking forward to next years camp! Who wants to be the next camp consoler?! Thanks to Aunt Barb, we had a great time rock climbing, and thanks to all the parents for letting us come, and thanks to our cousin Mary, for keeping the house (and boys in line for us!), and last but not least, thanks to Aunt Annie and Uncle Roger for everything. Have a great rest of the summer, school year, and the rest of the time up until next we have camp! See y'all (can you tell we had camp in Texas!?) soon! Love, Hannah O
Yesterday
Yesterday we went swimming of course. Then mr. Yale Got us beastly so we watched that. And we went jet skiing well Charlie will and Hannah did while Wendy Abby and Sally went in the pool while Emma was sleeping. Emma sleep or just stared in to a room or day dreamed all day. Then we went out and got custard which is pretty much like ice cream. Then a neighbor was having a party they had a band (which wasn't very good) so we listen to that all night long. We had a frisbee game with glow sticks so we good see the person you were throwing the frisbee(which also had glow sticks on it) it is 9:30 in the morning and Charlie will and Hannah are already outside jet skiing -Wendy Donnell

Hey y'all!
So as you might have already heard from our councilor Ann Friday was an easy peasy day for the participants of camp Yale. We sat back and enjoyed the day thanks to red box. We watched Just go with it and diary of a wimpy kid. After that we went swimming in the lake having races as Annie watched us in her canoe. Poor Emma got really dehydrated and didn't feel so good!We all enjoyed the treat of a easy diner of hotdogs and hamburgers, for dessert, s'mores cooked over the grill. At night we had a great game of frisbee with a glow up frisbee and glow bracelets then quickly jumped in the pool before nightly read aloud. Most campers by now are tired but are still enjoying the heat(with the help of the pool and lake and constant reminders to drink lots of water).

movie day
Redbox provided our entertainment today. An Adam Sandler movie was just soso. But 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' was my favorite. I laughed out loud. Then I fell asleep sitting up next to Emma.:)
We swam in the lake and I used a kayak to 'supervise' from the water. Then I swam and the girls joined me for a leisurely swim in our cove. It was delightful!
We missed Mary: she was picked up by Linda Schoonmaker who lives in Dallas. They had a nice afternoon together and even had dinner OUT! Not to worry though-laundry is folded, kitchen sparkling-I am the lucky hostess to have her as a guest.
Nightline just reported the heat-wave has reached epic proportions. Our a/c is a treat we wish we could send your way.
Stay cool.
